Alhamdulillah, I managed to get onto the Dean's List and was second best out of everyone with my grade point average of 3.91. Another girl managed to get a 4.0, and that made me a bit ungrateful for a bit because I could have gotten the same if not for that one A minus.
But nevertheless, I immediately brushed that feeling off and instantly felt happy for myself. I feel a bit undeserving, but hey, I know I worked my a** of for this. So in a way, I do deserve it!
Right now I'm doing a little bit of research on where to head for my degree. At first I wanted to just go ahead with Taylor's, but the fee is getting to be a bit too much for me. My parents, Alhamdulillah, have no problems with it. But yeah, I just feel that if there is a place which can offer just the same level of education as Taylor's does at a lower price, why not?
Ayah was admittedly a bit too excited when I told him about the Dean's List, and is already suggesting that I plan for the UK.
Daddy, I've ALWAYS. ALWAYS planned for the UK. Since I was ten, to be exact. I will get there, no matter what. But right now, its just a matter of when.
I haven't really made up my mind whether to head overseas for my first degree or my second. But what's important now is that I stay focused, and aim for only the best. Whatever happens next, will be decided later on.
