To France and South Korea!

Hullo. I've been missing for a while, and I'm gonna ahead and blame it on the people at Apple for still holding my Macbook hostage.

So my semester break is coming to its end soon. Going to have to wake up at seven in the morning again starting Monday, 12th September. Tsk tsk tsk. And back to going out the house in damp hair, and repeating clothes. And by clothes I mean either a pair of black skinnies or trackpants with a simple tee or tank top and cardigan.

That made me miss dressing up, a lot. So I made sure during my break that I'd make an effort to look nicer than I look going to college.

Heres an outfit I bothered photographing coz lets face it; I don't want to be doing this everyday... for now at least. And I'm saying that just in case someone tells me I should eat my words in the future.

Bought a supply of new rings after class was over and paired them with overpriced beaded bracelets bought from Topshop because I needed to make a 300MYR+ purchase in order to get their shopping bag.

Brought out my Mulberry Alexa out after MONTHS. My sugar glider kinda went around and bit the interior, the little psychos. The couldn't just settle for gnawing on a much cheaper bag.

The sheer jersey skirt bought from Topshop. I love this because it wasn't long before I bought it that I was searching for one, and almost settled on sewing one myself. Though I wore this piece with an inner skirt or kain dalam for fear of looking too indecent for Ramadhan.

Wore this out to get myself a baju kurung from Poya, because the last time I went with my mother and sisters, they forgot to include it with our other purchases. Thank GOD they still had stock. I also bought a vintage kebaya top as well. Nyehehehe.

This is the baju kurung. Not impressive, but yea. Thats just the point. A baju kurung that you can wear time and time again daily is always the best, at least in my opinion.

After lunch at Alexis BSC with a friend, I headed for KLIA after Maghrib with Eja (WHO ELSE REALLY) and Kechik in order to send away our babies Miasara and Ayui who are headed for France and South Korea respectively.

Miasara (headed to France) in the red headscarf on the left, and Ayui (headed back to South Korea) on the right... flailing her arms about. -____________-

Dinner. Sucky. Sucky dinner.

This is me, making faces any time I see a camera pointed towards me.

Kechik.

Au revoir my dearest Miasara! Bring home a Louis for me, thanks. A limited edition one. Ok? Capiche? Thanks.

I find the whole experience of sending off my friends a little, funny. Kinda like deja vu... but with reversed roles. I still very much remember how it was when I was the one being sent off to Egypt. Come to think of it, if I was still in Egypt, Eja would be the only one in my high school's close circle of friends left in Malaysia.

Soooo many people flying off! I feel like a proud mother. :'-) Meaning! ; I'm just as happy and as proud as anyone would of my friends.

Thus, that is all. Though I'll be blogging again soon, coz a post on Raya is due. And my family Raya like rockstars and nothing less. Muehehe. So, okay bye!
