Gogumas; GONE.

Just watched the final episode of the South Korean variety show 'We Got Married' for the Goguma couple, and lets just say I teared up a lil. If not a lot.

I'm not a really sentimental person, and if you know me, you'd know I don't care too much for love. (I'm THAT person, who mocks almost every other couple that walks by.) Other than the love I feel towards family, friends, and pets(!) lah. So for me to love this pair is... something. I think it is largely because they aren't like the typical pairs we're used to seeing nowadays. 

Where the words 'I Love You' are uttered without much thought. Where holding hands is something you do naturally on the first date. Basically, where everything is soooo RUSHED that you lose that chance to really get to know each other, to gather up as many reasons as you possibly could before you tell someone those three words. That you don't notice how uncomfortable your partner might be, and how pressured they might've felt when you insist on holding hands, or whatever.

I'm no expert in love. But some people, anthropologists even, believes that sometimes, the observer is capable of knowing more than the people who experiences. 

Take it slow, babes. You can only ever fully appreciate everything when you pause to take a look. Walking / Running towards the end without so much of a glance will only give you a memory of things blurring past.

And thank you Yonghwa and Seohyun for sharing your journey of more than 1 year with me. The joy I get from watching your awkwardness blossom into something beautiful is more than I ever would've fathom.
