Warning: I have a feeling this is gonna be a terribly long post. And I haven't even written anything besides this(!) right now.
Okay so I just got back from watching... THIS:
And I know I'm shamefully biased, but I'm gonna give it 10 thumbs up! If I had five pair of hands!! I LOVE THIS MOVIE!! MAXXXXXXXX!!!! (Please notice caps lock and improper use of the exclamation mark).
I mean... HO MY GOD.
I laughed.
I got mad.
I cried a river. Literally.
Towards the end my tears were flowing like the Nile river, up to the point that I didn't even bother wiping them off anymore. SO FREAKIN' SAD, MAN. And its a story about TOYS. Do you see how unacceptable this fact would be if I mentioned this to a population who's never heard of Pixar? T___T
The theatre where I was watching this movie a few hours earlier was... deserted. So at first I thought: Damn, this is gonna ruin the mood a little. Coz sometimes, if you notice, when you watch a movie together with an AWESOME audience, the movie just seems TEN TIMES better than when you go back home and watch it on DVD. The effect is different.
But this time. GOLLY! (This feels awkward. I've never used this word). My two friends and I laughed and mocked like nobody's business la wei! It was as if we OWNED the whole theatre. LOL! So much fun!
MAJOR LAUGHS at anything Rex said, and Spanish Buzz Lightyear!! And major feeling of I-want-to-kick-your-arse-so-bad directed towards Lots-O-Huggin' and that super annoying monkey with cymbals. Bloody irritating. SERIOUSLY!!! OMG. See how emotional I'm getting here?
Ohhh and how awesome are Ken's outfit?! That scene belongs in Sex and The City dude! LMAO!! I can't stop smiling like an idiot in front of my Mac right now, just thinking about the movie. So gooood. SO GET OFF YOUR ASSES AND WATCH IT YOU GUYS! And if you don't like it as much as I did, then oh well. I'm still gonna love it anyways!!
I have to stop now before I become like some of those annoying people who uses wayyy too many exclamation marks to prove a point.
Oh and at the beginning of the movie, I insisted that we entered the theatre early coz I couldn't take any chances of missing the short story that Pixar always shows before the real movie starts. And this time, its the much talked and praised about (well, if you read as many blogs as I do -_______-):
The three of us were mad excited all throughout this short movie. It was soooo good! And the merge between day and night. AWWWWW.I honestly am not able to count the number of times where I thought: "Who on Earth came up with this idea??" from beginning till the end of it. So creative! And it was better in 3D, I felt like poking the characters myself!
*pokepokepokepoke. Anyone who dares suggest to me SuperPoke on Facebook should prepare theirselves for they will be my target for homicidal murder.
Oh and at the beginning of the movie, when they played all the trailers and stuff, I can't help but put this on my already long list of movies to watch:
Honestly, the first thing I cried out when the trailer was on was: JUNO! Yes. Ellen Page is starring in this movie, along with Leonardo Dicaprio and Joseph Gordon Levitt of '500 Days of Summer' fame. I feel kinda silly that I've only watched a couple of movies starring Leo, coz he's such a respectable actor. Well. From what I've read and heard.
I think I've only seen him in Titanic, Romeo and Juliet, Catch Me If You Can, Revolutionary Road and errr. Thats it kot. Did he star in Pearl Harbor? Oh wait. No. That was Ben Affleck and Josh Harnett. Josh Harnett... so boyishly good looking.
*clears throat.
The other movie, if you've read my blog even before I deleted all those posts is one thats already high on my list of must-watch:
The trailer was MAD. AWESOME.
I know. I sound like some skater dude. But I don't care. I'm definitely gonna catch this one in theatres man. The only bad thing about dance movies is how they remind me of my two left legs. I can't dance to save my life! SO SAD.
But ultimately, out of the three Step Up movies, Channing Tatum still RULES! In terms of looks + bod lah. Haha. In terms of dance moves, well. Can't say much, but I think its enough that I mention almost EVERYONE have downloaded the final dance scene of Step Up 2 in their minds. I'm no exception. Means: The dance moves just gets better and better.
Okay, I'm in such a movie-mood, I'm gonna put up another post dedicated to just that! But as for THIS post, it shall end.....
NOW.
