If This Isn't Love.

Oh wow. It feels like so long ago since I last blogged. I want to, honestly. But I can never do it when I'm without blogging-modjo and because I've been busybusybusy these past few weeks.

This is how I look like on a daily basis (I suppose, coz I don't really look in mirrors anymore) nowadays:

Sexy, yes?

Just look at the state I'm in! My stupid scrawny hair and my eyebags! -______-

I really can't write much, coz I have finals in August, and we've already received our final assignments for all subjects. And I wanna f-king ACE 'em all!

Not gonna let procrastination be in the way of good grades.

But I've come to really accept that THIS is what I'm meant to do, coz despite all the late nights, the days I continue living albeit looking like a zombie (refer above picture), no sleep (at ALL) for 24 hours++ ;

Depending on mamak stalls for meals;

Sleeping on cardboard boxes;

Staying overnight at friend's apartment and MISSING my own bed TONS;

The amount of stress to deal with when something doesn't work out;

The things and places left uncleaned and in a mess;

... and a lot others, I can honestly say that;

I don't mind.

I love what I'm doing so much that at the end of the day; I'd always say to myself that 'I don't mind'. I'd go through all this crap, if it means I can continue doing what I'm doing now.

Thats love.

Plus, I have the BEST people along with me on the ride.

Of COURSE thats not ALL of them. :-)

P/S: Friends in Egypt taking Medicine, I think I can assure you that Architecture is like, about 5 times to 10 times tougher. I'm not trying to make this into a competition or whatever (honestly!) but since I'm privileged enough to get to experience both; I think that kinda allows me to compare.

So consider yourself f-king. LUCKY. Seriously. You guys have it so much easier than I do right now. And I'm only doing foundations! Imagine what I'd look like doing my degree.

The Cure Ain't Aspirin.

It must have had to do with the fact that I rarely ever eat a proper meal nowadays, simply due to being lazy, time constraints and lack of appetite, but;

I did lose four pounds (equals 2 kilos) in less than three weeks. And though its not obvious to the naked eye, I feel the difference; Coz I no longer have to unbutton my US size 6 jeans to fit into them anymore. I can also slip into Zara jeans (coz um yeah, I don't remember the last time I bought pants that AREN'T Zara -- they have awesome possum pants) more easily now. Like olde times! :'-)

Now, I don't plan on not eating in order to lose more weight, but now that I DID lose the aforementioned pounds, I have to admit that I'm more determined to shed even more. But of course, I'm a disbeliever of fad diets and the idea of not eating at all, so I'm gonna choose to take the healthy route towards being fit. Not skinny. Fit. Or, just thinner lah at least.

So no worries about me turning anorexic, bulimic, and all that.

Plan is to reach target weight AND body before September, at least. (Even better; Before Raya. But thats a long shot.) Coz I might be going somewhere in October with the a few course mates and I wanna look good! Super excited! But nothing is final yet, so I don't want to jinx it.

But lets just say its a site visit. NOT in Malaysia. EEEEEEEEK! Another reason I loveeee being an architecture student!

AND of course, to be well rid of my ginormous thighs and calves. I'm starting to feel embarrassed that I'm only twenty years old, yet some forty year old has better legs.

*depressed*

Plus I wanna wear tapered and cropped pants and look rad in them. Pretty please?

This is Pixie Lott.

I love her music. And I love... her legs. So I'm making her my fitspo / thinspo. TEEHEE. A bit far-fetched, but come on y'all! Whatever happened to aiming for the stars, so if I fall, I'd fall on the moon?

Or something like that. LOL.

I wish I have something better to update on... but I have to admit I need a lot more motivation to produce a long post nowadays, since my days are always kinda hectic. So I'm tired most of the time.

And to think that I'm only in my first semester. *gulps*

DIE DIE DIE.

I end this post with something I love dancing (in the comfort of my own room) to:

A Shorty.

This is a video I shot and edited on behalf of my whole group for an ENBE presentation last Monday about KL Sentral.

The time it took to edit the whole thing is strenuous, but it feels ultimately good when you're done. So I'm actually itchinggg to shoot some more things and edit them into videos. Perhaps even learning how to use Final Cut Pro(!) coz I'm bound to get bored with the limitations of iMovie at one point.

Now... to wait for that LUMIX. :-9

Piercings.

New hobby. And I'm not planning to slow down. Thinking about adding a few helix piercing on my right ear and an industrial on my left.

Facial ones are a no-no though.

Photos taken using a Canon G12 + KOLA colour filters.

Lieutenant Giggles says; ATTENTION!

Last Friday, I had a presentation for an assignment entitled; "The Mask", where everyone has to... basically turn themselves into Super Heroes / Super Villains. The catch is, is to be base your super powers on your own personality.

And so I chose to be Lieutenant Giggles. Why Lieutenant? Coz I just wanted an excuse to wear my Zara cameo jeans with my Dr Martens replicas. I'm a sucker for military inspired items, so I want to be able to incorporate everything I have together.

Why Giggles? Coz my group had a session where we told each other what their personality is like. And my six other group mates told me that I am:

(1) Daring.
(2) Friendly.
(3) Funny.
(4) Helpful, but never asks anything in return.
(5) Am able to take control of a situation.
(6) Like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. (I look like a calm and normal person, but once I get into my car, I'm insane.)

I chose funny, coz heck, I was running out of ideas. So my super powers is that people would be instantly thrown into a fit of laughter once I blow my whistle. And they don't get to stop until I blow the second time.

BTW, people who know me WILL associate me with my driving. Am I THAT bad? Seriously...

I'm gonna save that thought for another day, and provide you official photos (like, seriously, it IS official) of my ensemble.

Top to toe:
Cap from Koh Samui? I think? I don't remember
Aviators from Vincci Accessories
Diamante 3/4 sleeve top from a blog shop
Sleeveless blazer from Forever 21 (got it cheap!)
Cameo jeans from Zara
Dr Martens replicas from a blog shop

I didn't have to DIY a lot of things. What I did was simply pin on the gold buttons on my blazer, made that ridiculous mask, the lieutenant rank badge and the rope thingy on my left shoulder.

Now a photo of my league:

A couple days before the presentation, I told my friends about what I had to do over Twitter. And THIS is what one of them drew for me;

Ignoring the fact that he made me look like a GUY. LOL. But thanks anyway Izzat!

Super Hero photos are courtesy of Adi Ashraf over Facebook.

BTW, guess what I did and who I did it with yesterday?

YEAP.

Another movie (X-Men: First Class to be exact). With EJA.

Coz both of us doesn't believe in the idea of 'boyfriends', we belong to each other now. LOL.

Eja before heading towards La Bodega. KABUT KABUT nak pakai make-up.

Had two rounds of mojitos with her and someone-who-shall-not-be-named-or-photographed at La Bodega, Pavilion.

Virgin Mojito.

Before anyone jumps to the conclusion that I drink, let me just tell you that this is a mocktail. Its non-alcoholic... and DELICIOUS. I want moarrrrrrrr roaaaarrr.

Okay WTF.

Luscious mahogany blue shirt belongs to my sister Nadia.
I probably shouldn't have told her to get it, coz I love it and I want it for myself. LOL.

If you notice, my hair colour is different now. Because the night my family left me home alone and headed towards Germany... I got bored.

So in between watching live broadcasts of both a golf match and an episode of Nadal VS Murray and Federer VS Djokovic, I bleached my hair.

This is not at all surprising, really. My hair has been abused one too many times now. It is so penyapu-like right now. No kidding. I need to get myself a bottle of Ellips.

X-Men, on the other hand... is amayhhhzinggg. I loved it. And I love how they include short cameos of Wolverine and Rebecca Romjin as adult Mystique. A few people said its so-so, but I don't know. I loved the previous X-Men, and I will continue loving it.

Plus, another thing I love about it is because you get to know how everyone came about, like, the origins la. How Professor X ended up on a wheelchair, how Beast became.. well, Beast.

We got the best seats in the houseeee, by the way.

WAY UP FRONT! *thumbs up!* But it was quite okay. At the very least my neck didn't feel like it was bout to break. The best part was that I get to take off my shoes and throw them in the large floor space between our seats and the screen.

How very lady-like of me.

Now, I have to some cleaning to do! A LOT of cleaning to do, actually. So, till later!
