Arsenal Asia Tour 2012.
With my brother and impromptu third person of the night; my primary school friend (whom I haven't seen in 4 years) Adilah.
Read her blog here.
Green Gate Tier 1 was without a doubt the most occupied seats in the entire stadium. The other sections were basically almost empty, which is a big difference from last year.
In my opinion, it must have been due to it being the month of Ramadhan, and also the absence of some key players. Robin Van Persie, Jack Wilshere and whatnot. But Arteta and Vermaelen was in attendance, and mmmhhmmm they are fine.
Went a little crazy with the diorama mode on my E-P3.
Even my car key is adorned with something Arsenal.
This is when Abou Diaby scored Arsenal's second goal against the Malaysian team.
Just look at the scars on my face! Tonight was just one of those nights (or days) that I just didn't bother covering them up with concealer. Whatevs y'all.
Conclusively; The first half of the match was boring. It was much more action packed last year although the Malaysian team did improve and actually managed putting a ball in the net unlike losing 4-0 when Arsenal came in 2011.
I had a good time seeing the boys in action AKA eyeing Arteta like a hawk *cough* but most of the time I was actually just, honestly? Hungry. Since I had to rush my iftaar in order to get to the stadium on time.
Other than that all I was thinking was; Mehh I'll be seeing these lads at The Emirates soon anyways. InsyaAllah. I have 3 years to make it happen!
Salaam Ramadhan everybody!

One-Day Trip to Penang.
Last Saturday was my first time in Penang! Yes, its sad that I've been to countries outside the continent but have yet set foot at a place closer to home. But now I have! So I don't have to endure people's shocked expressions ( "You've never been to Penang?!?" ) and gasps when I tell them I've never been.
I honestly thought I would've snapped more photos, but it turns out that I didn't. Maybe because it was a one day trip (yes, drove there in the morning and back home around midnight) and I wasn't feeling very finger trippy. Perhaps because the last time I fully utilised my Pen E-P3 was back in December during my Italy - London trip.
Promise I'll take it out more often from now on.
But here's a few (out of the few) photos that I took on that day. Still hitting myself for not taking a full photo of my outfit. I dressed up nicely too (so perasan OMG); in a sheer tie dye dress and outerwear.
Butterworth Ferry Terminal and on the ferry itself.
Nasi Kandar Line Clear. I swear I was the only one being all tourist-y in the queue. Even asked this man to pause so I can take a photo of him and our plate of food.
The companion.
Chilling out at Batu Ferringhi beach.
Pasembor along Gurney Drive.
Lights sold at he night market.
This obviously won't be my last time going to Penang, even more so when I was there was less than 24 hours and didn't do much. But I enjoyed myself! I would've rather have a more chilled out trip like this one than one where we try to fit as much as possible and be constantly in a rush.
Hoping to make it here again with (1) the family and (2) friends. I really really want to experience staying over at Lone Pine for a night or two. Or three. Or... you can see where this is going.
That is all.
