England - Day 1

EHH MA GADDD. It is zooo typical of me to have ONLY used my own camera to take pictures on the first day I went sightseeing (the other days I just depended on my friend's or my sister's) and then made my sister empty the contents of the SD card, and then COMPLETELY FORGET to take them off her Mac and into my own. Sheesh.

This is exactly what happened with the last trip to England last November. WHY AM I LIKE THIS. Wae Ironi(?) Oh okay, tak, tu 'Why are YOU like this' eh? K-Pop megafans, correct me please.

(Screencap: T-ara - Why Are You Like This?)

BTW I should warn my friends to not be surprise if you find me singing along to Korean songs (even more miserably than I do English songs, coz I make up my own words. YES I am J.R.R Tolkien!) nowadays, coz as I found out, a lot of their songs are pretty catchy. Oh, and you should also note that I can dance to Girls' Generation's 'Hoot' (the chorus part)... only it is embarrassing to do so outside the privacy of my room coz of our obvious difference in thigh diameter.

Uh-m. -_____-"

Okay back to the main part, I can actually just skip the part about my first day, coz I didn't even do a lot. What I did was visit Trafalgar Square, The Towers of London, and Greenwich. But fortunately enough, I do have pictures from my friend's camera, so all credits go to her.

Honestly speaking, I'm not a fan of sightseeing in London. I'm more I-wanna-shop-till-I-have-to-sit-on-my-luggage-to-be-able-to-zip it kinda London tourist y'know. But I was fairly excited about Greenwich.

Though the idea of walking so much, and climbing on top a high hill in a very cold plus windy weather just so I could be in both the Western and the Eastern hemisphere at the same time is... pretty crazy. I mean, you expect it to be like:

"Heck yeah, baby, look at me, I'm on two different sides of the world," and uhhh "YES YES YES TOTAL RE-ENACTMENT OF A WALK TO REMEMBER!! Thoughwithoutaloveinterestohnososad."

But its really NOTHING like that. Its actually pretty... err. How do I say this? Okay, how you REALLY feel once you're at the front of the queue to take a picture with the Meridian line:

"THIS is what I came for??!"

I don't regret it, its not like that. I think its a pretty nifty experience. But one that you'll feel satisfied doing only ONCE. Yeah. Unless they make the line a little more interesting, y'know? Like maybe make it light up or something. And make a wind-blocker or something to make sure your hair doesn't come up as totally strange in pictures, like this:

Thats about it about our first day in London. Now Imma go watch the FIFTH (out of TWELVE) Pokemon movies I just downloaded! Nyahahaha. I. AM. HAPPY.

On a different note: I have never felt SO UNCOMFORTABLY FAT IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I mean, I'm never the skinny / always thin (I have my moments okayyy however you choose to not believe it) type, but trust me, I've learnt to accept and love my body. It took a lot of effort, but I've always managed to be confident in my own skin.

I can't say the same thing lately. And thats sad. I hate feeling sooo bloody self-conscious. Its like I'm back to where I was years ago. A time where I wished my body was completely different. Its never a good thing when you become ungrateful for what God has given you.

Thus why I can't wait to get home and start to eat healthily and EXERCISE! I mean, sure, home have been a reason to why I've gotten so large (especially since I study overseas, and all you want to do when you get home is savour every local dish before you depart again), but I have self-control also okayyy.

The first thing I'm gonna do the NEXT day after my arrival is head to the gym / friggin JOG. And GO ON THAT DETOX I've been telling myself to go on, but always failed to in Egypt.

And when my body is toned a little and my cheeks die down a little IMMA CHOP OF MY HAIR SHORT! Though slightly longer than what I did 3 years ago, and you know Imma do it without a doubt yo! SSSNAP!

What I did to my hair simply because I got sick of it three years ago.

OH YEAH GO WOWO GO!
