A Compilation of Things.

Seriously, the amount of people telling me (non upfront, though) how they're glad I'm changing made me begin to think:

"Was I that bad before?"

Because the way I see it, I haven't really changed much personality wise. I think the only thing that's actually changed about me is the fact that I am now serious about donning the hijab 24/7 and that I am now The Girl Who Successfully Deleted Her Facebook. LMAO.

I guess I'll just take everyone's comments as an encouragement? :-)

Which reminds me that I forgot a very good friend's birthday, because lets face it. Facebook is a saviour for a lot of people who can't be reminded of people's birthdays. Including myself. So I'm awfully sorry to that friend of mine! Hope you forgive me Paca! For being more than TEN days late.

But like they say, better late than never, so here goes:

HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY, PACA!

Thinking back, its funny how I first got to know this dude. There's no need to go into details, but lets just say he used to be my middleman back in school. Or 'posto' as most people would call it. HAHA.

BTW, aku download okay perkara ini:

On another note, I want to watch THIS:

Okay, IDK why YouTube is being a pain on my browser. Maybe since I haven't updated it yet.
Ughh. But WTV it is, the thing I want to watch is the movie
EAT PRAY LOVE
starring Julia Roberts.

Too bad I haven't had a chance to read it first. Always wanted to, grabbed it countless of times when I'm in a bookstore. But then again, I grab up to ten books at once, and at the end, I'll always have to read back on all the summaries and decide the ones I would like to prioritize.

*sigh. I miss proper bookstores. They don't have them here. There's only bookstands. But still, if you'd let me, I could stand there browsing for more than a half hour. Now imagine how I get when I get to MPH, Borders(!) and Kinokuniya(!) back in Malaysia.

I've been scolded once for grabbing a mountain of books by a staff, who I think is just LAZY to clean up the mess I'll make. Okay okay I admit I'm at fault coz I don't always put the books I don't want in their rightful shelves since I can't even remember where I took from most of the time.

And to think I used to be a librarian at school. -________-"

I've also been scolded a number of times by my parents coz I keep buying them. I remember Mama marah and told me not to finish 3 books in one day. Okay. Ni time zaman batak R.L. Stine. I'd lock myself up in the room, and honestly, I can finish reading up to 5 of them in a day.

Leaving me asking for more lah, of course. :-P

If someone asks me how my picture of a perfect date would be, I'd say one of things (insert name here) and I would do is just sit back, and read. I feel that words are irrelevant in that moment. It would just be good enough that we know my other half's there, indulging in whatever he's reading, and both of us would be content enough to bask in each other's silence. Sometimes words can spoil a beautiful thing.

Come to think about it, I've already told this once to someone. Mister. IDK what my purpose was to tell him this piece of information back then. More so... IDK why I remember almost every detail or our every conversation. But ahh... nahh. I'm not gonna write about Mister here. One: It's gonna bore people. Two: I'll somehow end up feeling pathetic after.

Oh, I also suspect that Mister reads my blog. Because I suspect he left a comment on one of the posts I deleted. If he does, then thats MASSIVELY embarrassing. -_______-" But if you really do read this Mister, I think its better if I tell you this now:

Pray that I'll find another guy who could compare to you, now why don't you? Don't you think I deserve that? Be a friend, ayytteeee! ;-)

Last but not least, who's excited about THIS:

Being the impermanent football supporter I am, this year, I am no longer rooting for Germany, like I did the last time. Because this year, I'm a proud supporter of:

ESPANA

Oh yes yes yes Spain! Don't fail me now!

The only downside of this event is that it is scheduled to begin in June and will end in July. What does this basically means? Well, it means now I can't experience watching a World Cup match in a mamak / joint somewhere in Malaysia.

SUCKS. But oh well, takde rezeki nak buat macam mana kan?

Which reminds me I need to get a Spain jersey. Unless of course, any of you reading this is generous enough to get one for me. TEEHEE. Please, go ahead. Know that you'll receive such amazing pleasure from pleasing me.

*grins sheepishly.

P/S: I don't fancy a lot of Malaysian movies, but I'm particularly enthused about this one:

It helps that Lisa Surihani (who is such an adorable sweetheart) is starring in this movie as well! Boys? I know you'll have no doubt in purchasing a ticket for one of these ehhh? ;-P
