Cried looking at this photo, despite it being blurry, out or proportion, etc. (I'm not a photographer NOR do I know any more about photography, so I shall stop before I embarrass myself.) coz it captured the emotion(s) of a mother sending her son off to become another woman's responsibility perfectly.
Its a photo of my Mak Long, hugging my cousin (her son), who got married recently.
P/S: This post is in NO way an indication of me having the intention to get married. Though, friends studying here with me... Well, lets just say a majority of the girls/boys are already thinking of marriage around here. Me? I cringe at the thought. I can never really imagine myself getting married.
My friends' reaction to when someone asks if I have a boyfriend: "DIA? ADA BOYFRIEND?? *explodes in laughter*"
Okay, that may be a little exaggerated, but it happened... and the words said are somewhere along that line.
Though I know my sister (Lisa) is feeling quite confident that I'll be the first to marry. PFFFT. AS IF I'M GONNA LET THAT HAPPEN LA KAN. I'm already fighting a war over who gets to fan my sister on the pelamin with my younger sister, Nadia. LMAO.
I ain't losing that war, man. Nuh-uh.
P/S: I just watched 'Flipped' again last night. For the.... fourth? Fifth time? IDK why I love it so much... but I LOVE IT. So anyone who hasn't watched it yet, WHY HAVEN'T YOU?!? OH-MAAA-GADDDD. Bitch, please. Go watch, okaii.
